Ms. Sophi
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Ms. Sophi, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP) with experience in schools (K-12) and private practice. She is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practices, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and early intervention. She received her B.A. in Communicative Disorders at CSU Northridge, had 5+ years as a behavioral aide and several years as an inclusion educator for a nonprofit organization. Sophi went on to receive her M.S. in speech-language pathology from University of New Mexico (UNM).
Ms. Sophi uses child-led, play-based, and holistic approaches to communication and feeding development. She enjoys educating and supporting families; but when she is not wearing her SLP hat, she is hiking, doing yoga, and learning about integrative medicine. Sophi believes all children deserve opportunities to shine as they are - using individual and family interests, play, acceptance, and exploration!
