Follow these steps to make turn-taking a fun social routine and more doable for little tots 🙃

✨Choose an activity they already want you to be a part of

✨Like throwing you a ball, giving/showing toys or asking for your help with them

✨Just model during that time. Ex “mommy’s turn” —> “__s turn” —> “my turn again”

✨Create positive associations with turn taking by using their actions

✨Get a head start on sequential / time terms by using them in your daily vocab. They’re helpful for transitions and language comprehension down the road
